Hooboy. Much to tell.

Let's start with V Day. Oddly uneventful this year. Flowers from Russ and ma sweetie! Along with the CDs I've been dying to get... 2 years in the making. Yeeha! Serious lack of chocolates... that's a good thing. I'm getting fat. Oh and poetry from yours truly ;) The makings of a romantic day. Not!

Haha. Oh well. I did get to watch Walk the Line. Awesome... I love Joaquin Phoenix. Whee! Wish I'd listened to more Johnny Cash.

Anyway, what else has happened since?

... like you don't already know.

Yes, it's FRANZ FERDINAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's not Franz, by the way. That's Greg ("AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"), Kev ("AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!") and Lis ("Errrrr... cheese?").

Absolutely rocking concert! The half-day leave was definitely worth it. And 5 hours of 'rotting' (okay, so we watched Girl Next Door. Woooooo!) and 2 really unhealthy meals later, there we were right in front of the stage, inches from Nick and Alex and the rest of the band. So close, we could taste the sweat... haha. Okay, so maybe that's just wishful thinking... Andy is sooooooooo hot! Too bad he's only a sessionist.

I think all of us pretty much got our insides squashed, ground and pummelled to bits (see above). Most of us got freaked out by Crazy Smiley Girl, some of us got our hair pulled and heads mashed, and one lucky soul got his ass pinched (lucky lucky you're so lucky!!!!). And maybe, somewhere in Singapore, some poor guy is plaintively wailing, "My pants are falling down!" But in the end, it's a small price to pay... I love you Franz!!!!!!!!! Especially Andy. Okay, and Alex too. Sigh.

And the mobbing at Hotel Intercontinental later? Superb. I'm proud of you, Alex.
