Good enough to eat

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!! And what a Christmas it's been. It's been really, really good. First, I'm thankful for all that I have (I have a lot to be thankful for) and all that's to come. Second, I've had a whole week off from work, which meant that I got to spend some awesome quality time with my baby. And third...

I have moved!!!!!!!!! And I HAVE A NEW ROOM!!!!! Whooooo!!!! The past couple of weeks have been insanely hectic - ordering new furniture, packing everything, bringing stuff over to the new house, unpacking everything, setting up my new room... I thought I'd never get my packing done in time 'cos by the morning of the day before the big move I'd only packed about half my stuff, but I hadn't counted on Nick's super packing abilities. He came over to help me pack at 1am, and in just 2 hours packed everything neatly in boxes and bedsheets. Incredible. There's something to be said for army training. Heh. Thanks babe!!!! Couldn't have done it without you.

I'm finally (almost) done. Just waiting for the curtains to come in (have to wait till end Jan!) but otherwise I'm all set. And all the effort's been worth it. My new room is GORGEOUS. I love it to bits! (Even without the curtains.) I'll post more pics when the curtains go up. For now, feast your eyes on the prettiest corner of my room - my bed! It's a sofa bed (incidentally, it's my birthday present from Nick - a very big and pretty present!), so I can sprawl out there and read when I'm feeling lazy (I've got a reading corner too - more on that later). I've got my two fave teddies to keep me company, Zack bear, from my bro, and Chris bear, so named because he's one of my Christmas presents from Nick. He even talks! Hee.
